Mrs. Jennifer Krueger

Hello, Cardinal students & families!

I have taught 7th grade English Language Arts for 9 years at Strong, and I love watching students improve in reading, writing, and speaking. My goal is to include skills to prepare students for real life situations that will assist them in their future.

My educational experience comes from The University of Michigan-Dearborn where I received a major in Communications & Journalism, a Secondary Teaching Certificate in English Language Arts & English as a Second Language. In addition, I have received my first Master’s degree in Curriculum, Instruction, & Assessment from Walden University and a second Master's degree in Education and Technology from Western Governer's University.

After school, I spend time in the library tutoring students with homework which is my favorite because I get to meet 6th graders, and hang out with 8th graders that I already had in class! I have also coached the 8th grade Volleyball team at Strong.

When I am not teaching, I am spending time traveling, skiing, biking, hiking, climbing mountains, hanging out with nature, recycling, walking, and of course loving my husband and family! I adore and love all animals, especially my rescued cats Florian and Mischa.

Since I am passionate about the environment and animals, I will be holding a STRONG ROOTS environmental club. This club will focus on getting students and families involved in understanding the importance of our environment. We will hold meetings in Room 5 after school. Dates and times will be posted on my Google Classroom soon.

Please feel free to contact me if you need anything. I can’t wait to meet all of you.

Parents & students please join REMIND for my class! From your phone, simply send a text to 81010 and text this message @kruegerela to join.
