Hello and Welcome!!

My name is Ms. Amani Hamadi, and I’m proud to be an 8th-grade math teacher at Strong Middle School. Teaching math allows me to combine my passion for education with my goal of helping students build confidence and succeed academically. Having previously worked as an ELL Math teacher and completed my student teaching here at SMS, I’m excited to continue my journey with this fantastic community.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Arts, majoring in Mathematics and Secondary Education, from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. I am currently working on my Master's Degree in Teaching English Language Learners. I'm originally from Lebanon, I taught there for five years before relocating to Michigan. I’ve called Dearborn home for nearly a decade now. When I’m not teaching, I love exploring the outdoors, taking long walks at Ford Field Park, working on crafts, biking, and enjoying good food. 

I’m eager to meet my students and am confident that this year will be both exciting and rewarding!
