Hello Cardinals! 

Welcome to 6th grade math. I’m so excited to have you in my class. We are going to have so much fun and you are going to learn and grow so much this year! Be prepared to work hard, and have fun along the way!

This school year marks my 15th year as a teacher. I have taught 6th grade math at Strong since 2013. I grew up in Livonia and went to Grand Valley State University for my undergraduate degree. During my time at Grand Valley I was lucky enough to be part of the swim team which was an awesome experience. In 2010 I earned my first masters degree in teaching middle school mathematics from Marygrove College. Additionally I completed my second masters in teaching English as a Second Language from Cornerstone University, a teacher never stops learning! Currently I live in Farmington Hills with my husband and four children!
