What does a school counselor do?
School counselors promote a supportive learning atmosphere that allows all students to attain their full potential. Within the school, counselors serve as collaborators, liaisons, and advocates. Counselors support students in their academic success, social and emotional growth, and exploration of their future college and career objectives.
