Dear Parents and Guardians:
Last week I sent you a formal invitation to open house scheduled for Thursday, September 9. In the letter, I notified you that the students of Strong Middle School would have an early release on that day. This information was sent out prior to receiving the unfortunate news that the district ceased all busing for our students. I know that an early release this week would add additional stress to your already trying situation.
In an effort to work with you and ease the burden, we will have a full day of school on Thursday, September 9. The early release will be moved to Friday, October 8 at 12:54 p.m. I am hoping that the bus situation will be rectified by that time. If not, at least it will give you more time to figure out a transportation plan.
Open House at Strong Middle School is scheduled for in person on Thursday, September 9. All staff, parents and students are required to wear masks. In order to limit the amount of people in the building at one time we will provide two time slots.
- If your student’s last name begins with an “A” through “M” we are asking you to arrive at 5:30 pm.
- If your student’s last name begins with an “N” through “Z” we are asking you to arrive at 6:15 pm
