In “Fictional Element” you read about some of the properties of vibranium. In the following passage, you’ll learn more about how this made-up element helps protect the movie’s hero by absorbing energy. Read the passage, and then answer the questions that follow.

Think about how vibranium was important to the superhero Black Panther and his powers. Now, create your own superhero! Your superhero should have super powers based on at least one of the elements from the Periodic Table. Use the document below to record information about your hero and element, as well as find the criteria for this project.

For this activity, you will watch a Bill Nye video and answer questions that pertain to the video.
