Computers - 5-4th Quarter Assignments

This school year has not been a normal one to say the least. Reflect back on the year that you had and think of a moment where a teacher made an impact on you as a student. I want you to do the following:

1. Email that teacher and explain how they impacted you and thank them.
2. CC me at [email protected] so that I can see a copy of your email.

Although we didn't get to meet in person, I appreciate all of the hard work you did and the communication that we were able to have despite our situation. Congratulations to the 8th graders, have a great time in high school. 6th and 7th graders, I will see you next year. :)

When you sign into Code.org you will have access to a class that I set up for you. I will be assigning two assignments per week. I know some of you may have completed some of these in the past but they are a good refresher on how to use appropriate blocks.

Hello everyone!

Some of you have been typing away already but I haven't really had the chance to get to know some of you better. For this assignment I'm going to have you do a quick Google slides about yourself so that I am able to learn a little bit more about you and your personal interests. Please provide me the following information in a Google Slide presentation. Each slide must have an answer to each question written in a complete sentence and also a picture.

-Title Page
-Picture of you with your full name
-What are your favorite uses for technology?
-What do you want to be when you grow up?
-If you could learn anything about technology or computers, what would it be?
-Tell me a fun fact about yourself!
