You can create YOUR OWN color by number by drawing a picture (must take up a plain sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper) that directly relates to this assignment. Break your picture up into segments and number them accordingly (1-15). Then, color your drawing according to the color of each of your answer choices.  See Mrs. Smith if you have any questions. 

You can earn up to 20 extra credit points towards your 2nd quarter report card!
Points are based on:
Relevance of drawing
Neatness of drawing
Neatness of coloring
Numbers 1-15 are used
Each number segment is the correct color

Whether you celebrate with a tree, a menorah, a kinara, or none of the above, you’ll learn something fun about winter holidays like Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa in this BrainPOP movie! In it, Tim and Moby introduce you to the traditions and origins of some of these holiday celebrations. You’ll learn which holiday falls on a different day every year, discover which one is named for a Swahili phrase, and which one is celebrated by about 1.8 billion people all across the globe. Plus, you’ll find out what all these holidays have in common - and it’s not presents! Happy holidays!

1. Log into Classlink.

2. Click on the BrainPop icon and wait for it to log you in.

3. Click on the assignment listed near the top of your dashboard. It is called "Winter Holidays."

4. Use headphones to watch the BrainPop movie and answer the questions when the movie pauses. Take your time.

5. After watching the movie and answering the questions, complete the remainder of the BrainPop activities. (Refer to the picture below).

6. This assignment is due today.
